Music
The aim of our Music curriculum is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop and foster a love of music, and increase their own confidence and creativity through performance and appreciation of different musical styles and genres. As pupils progress through the school, they will develop in performance ability, using both vocal and instrumental styles, and will develop their vocabulary of musical appreciation and criticism.

The music development plan is a summary of how our school delivers music education to all our pupils across three areas – curriculum music, co-curricular provision and musical experiences – and the changes we are planning in future years.
